If you're really unbiased you will realise that draw was the only possible result in the Ahmedabad Test midway through Day 4 while all three results were possible in Adelaide when play started on Day 5. Granted it wasn't an edge of the seat draw, but it was a lot more even contest between bat and ball. One also needs to remember that Australia were without Ben Hilfenhaus while the West Indies were missing Jerome Taylor and Fidel Edwards.

i take is as compliment to the competitiveness of india and srilanka and inaptness on oz to force an issue against a woeful team that too at home...

the could not even score 330 odd in a day against a team that is fighting to survive at international level...

oz atleast had chance or motivation to win on final day against india who had no option but to play out draw to survive in the match... so the external pressure was more on india than say oz...

This is probably not the best example when you consider the fact that only 21 wickets fell in Ahmedabad compared to 35 in Adelaide. There was also some sharp turn and reverse swing. I think the Adelaide Test would have seen a result had it been between India and Sri Lanka. The test in Ahmedabad had no chance of producing a result once Dravid and Yuvraj settled in.
